What about using 2 jigs in tandem for deep drops, a large one followed by a smaller one or with them reversed. Only the trailing jig would have hooks. Second idea would be a small bird followed by a small flyer or swim bait for surface action. Did anyone try throwing a cedar plug? Can you tell I'm bored sitting here in D.C.? Comments?
