I received a phone call this morning. GS wanted to fit safety straps to rods on the milkcrate. I thought it was a trick. He helped me load up some equipment and off we went to the milkcrate. The whole time I was with him, I was anticipating some kind of prank.
We fitted some rods with 400# mono with crimps. They are a perfect fit for each rod. No way they can come out of the holder. We only left a 1/4" of play to remove the rods. I thought something was going to happen as he stopped off at a sports bar after we finished. Turns out he just wanted to drink and watch A&M play basketball on TV.
