Yo Fishhead,
Don't be afraid to post the pics of your milkcrate. If it's an improvement from what you had then it must be OK. Heck, you might even give some other people ideas on how to improve their rod storage on a boat.
If the Big E was a mile away getting some work done, that means two things.
1) General maintenance that was needed.
2) Just like a house, the new owner has in his contract that certain things must be fixed before the sale. People do walk a through on boats just like houses before buying. Either fix it or deduct an inflated amount from the agreed price.
Sorry Fishhead56, I see where you put the pictures up on a previous post on this thread. Not Bad. Way better then those plastic milk crates. Just out of curiosity, what are the outside dimensions of your crate? Looks like your ready to go. You've got your bottom rigs, jigs, poppers and plenty of rods to go with your crate. Gook luck on your trip. Give us a report after your trip.
