Trust me, a 100 dollar bet isn't enough to keep my arse on the boat.
I guess it sounds stupid to spend $700 on a rod to win a $100 bet. The bet is the main reason for having the rod constructed. I have many other 100# class roller stand up rods in my arsenal I could have used. To be honest, it was an excuse to buy another rod. I'll get a lot of use out of it during the summer. If it works out, I'll have more built.
