The SS blanks are heavier (maybe 2 or 4 ounces) than the comparable Graphiter but I don't think the difference is really noticable after wrapping and with reels attached.

The action of the SS blanks I've wrapped seems faster to me than the Black Steel series -- have another SS CTSF63XXH in the wrapper now and SS CTSF55XXXH in the wings. The latter will be a serious war club that will strike fear in the hearts of man and beasts....

Btw, I have heard of very few Graphiters breaking in actual and reasonable fishing conditions.
