gimmedeal is on a distinguished road
I haven't weighed them but have held them both. That and having fished the 700H conventional rods. I believe that the Calstar is significantly lighter, dimensionally much smaller in diameter. I like the speed and power of the Calstar but haven't fished the Seekers. Mine will have Aftco reel seats and gimbals and am going with the Fuji Alconite guides. Think from the press the SS blanks are getting, they'll be fast and probably more resistant to breaking than the Grafighters but haven't had that problem with them as yet. You pay your money and make your choice. I am planning to use the SS blank for a roller rod for a 50 SDS but one project at a time.
