Ok so I am in Miami fishing last weekend and realize I left our other Stella spinning reel at home by mistake so I went to a tackle shop and picked up the Fin Noir 65 size reel, it was cheap so I filled it up with 65# braid and off we went. I was fully expecting this reel to break, I even told the sales guy at Captain Harry's I would probably see him later with a broken reel LMAO as he said I was crazy.
My stella, my son and the 65 went out and found big Amberjack and to my surprise, the reel held up fine. It will probably break sometime in the near future but we got our $135 dollars out of it the first day. The captain I go with actually uses them for kings Mahi etc and said he hasnt had any issues with them
I intend on breaking it in NC this month
