I haven't tried Smith Nirai, but I tested the prototype Smith 5'2" 500g rod and the action of the rod is very simlilar to Hot's Wei.
I feel OTI 600 g blanks is a little stiffer than both rods, but it will bend enough when you have a nice tuna on it.
Here is a video of Smith Nirai action when hooked a nice samson fish.
When using ultra light rods like Hot's Wei or Smith Nirai for jigging big fish, you have to handle the rods with care no matter what the rating is.
