Fin Nors are notoriously finicky. I've never owned one, but this just seems to be the word about them.
Also - if a reel claims to be able to handle a certain weight in drag (I think the OFS95 claims 66lbs?) - then it should absolutely handle the situation described. to me, 66lbs of drag says that it is a crazy strong reel, under all situations.
