I would not use gear supply by the boat that's because I have my own gear.
use the boat supply gear if you have to, it will catch fish but if you hook into big ones , it will takes awhile to land it if the line didn't break.

I might have a loaner gear ( tld 25 spooled with spectra) and trinidad 40 pair with Seeker CJBF 70 for casting popper.
