Gents,

I am looking to schedule a 36 hour trip in the near future and need a honest opinion. I do not have any personal saltwater gear for these deep water trips. I have fished before on Capt Johns boat 12 hour venture and had a blast with just the gear supplied.

My Question - Would I be completely disappointed using the gear supplied by the boat versus trying to either rent some (dont want to buy anything for just one trip obviously) or whatever?

Any responses would be great. Thanks
