Welcome Jeremy! That's sort of the idea!

This rod is very strong and light, but has a great tip (for casting lures a mile), but just the right parabolic action so that when you're fighting a hard-pulling fishy, the 7'6" length won't put you at a leverage disadvantage, relatively!

The prototype looks great at this point, so if we do it, we feel the final production rod is going to be one of the best rods anywhere!

The 2-piece is a GREAT convenience and is slowly, but surely, working its way to the States from Asia (vs. a one piece).

I have many 2 and 3 piece travel rods and in my experience have seen as good or better performance and durability compared to my single piece sticks.

If we decide to bring this to market, our limited-lifetime warranty should ease any customers' concerns regarding the rod's performance or durability.

What do you think guys?
